Chris Burden "Urban Light" Sculpture at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art

Oooooooooooooooooooooooh. While driving home the other night and passing the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) on Wilshire Blvd., I saw this stunningly beautiful and elegant large scale sculptural installation by Chris Burden. Oh it is so gorgeous. So so beautiful.

The installation is comprised of 202 restored and fully operational vintage streetlights. The lamps go on at dusk and stay lit until dawn. If you are in the area, it is definitely worth a visit!

Here is a link for a Los Angeles Times article on the artist and this sculpture: LA Times Chris Burden
