Elisabeth Higgins O'Connor at David Salow Gallery

I am not sure what to think of these works by Elisabeth Higgins O'Connor at David Salow Gallery in Los Angeles. I am still mulling it over.

Your thoughts?

They're interesting, but I could use a break from all the animals and children's references in contemporary art.

I don't find them very cute. I like the choice of materials, though.

They are interesting to look at - and I'm sure the concept is intriguing. I agree and think the choice of materials make me look more than the results.

all the pieces are interesting but not really my cup of tea.

Hmmmm...I do get E.Ks point- there is a lot of cutesy stuff happening at the moment....but to be honest I can't get enough of the cute/macabre juxtaposition, even if it's no longer a very original concept!
These remind me of the kind of monster that may mutate from all the bits and pieces in my messy craft room.
That's a good thing!

Are those dogs? I've never seen anything like it. Definately creative. A little scarey -hehe- I feel like they are going to bite me.

They look a bit scary to me - not really my thing.

mmmmm, I can't really decide - they have a certain appeal but I'm not sure if they are something that I would "love"
