Bigger, Stronger, Faster

I watched the Bigger, Stronger, Faster* DVD the other night. It is a movie about steroids [it is not a porno!], and I must say it was rather interesting.

This short video clip highlights one of the more bizarre bits in the movie.

And here is the other.

Gregg Valentino, owner of the world's biggest bicepts (and smallest forearms?)

I just don't know what to say about that guy in the second photo. He reminds me a little of when people in films turn into monsters -- like Dr. Jekyl in The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. Ick.

Also, would you ever be able to sleep on your side? You'd kind of tip over, I think, lol!

My friend saw this and went to a Q and A with the directors and the guy in it was totally on the defense about steroids. What a jerk. I am not a sports person but when I hear of all the famous sports players being caught dosing it really makes me upset. I mean they should be fired from their teams. What about mandatory drug tests?

ewwwww! that guys arms are really gross.. do men think we ladies find this look attractive?

People fear evolution. Steroids are the future, live longer, stronger and more fulfilled lives. In sports the numbers prove it. There are always going to be assholes that ruin it for everyone (freak muscle guy that you pictured above). The world has said they are horrible and now they are wrong and they don't know what to do. It's like they say there's no such thing as global warming, oh shit the planets getting hotter what do we say or do now. Hooray Steroids, and Hooray Red Stripe!

I have also seen this movie - and I thought it was really scary. I can't believe that people with muscles that big think it is a good look.

EWWWWWWWWW!!!! Yucky,blurrrrrghhhh!
Do these guys honestly think this is attractive?! I don't know of one woman who would be turned on by this.
I don't really understand what Evil Mr Peppers is trying to say either......using steroids like that is so unnatural- how could it be the way of the future to do stupid things to our bodies?
The thing with the bull is just sick.
Very interesting post!

my partner has this documentary and i actually sat thru it and watched the whole thing, it was pretty interesting

what i think is the core of the problems is that we have to recognize it as a disorder, i think its called bigarexia (the opposite of anorexia) they're basically mental

i mean, who needs all that muscle...what can you actually do with it? nothing! they are constant state of pain, hunger, thirst and whatnot
