So You Are Starring in a Musical...

If I could star in any musical ever, I would without a doubt be Ricki Lake's Tracy Turnblad character in the 1988 Hairspray musical.

Who would you be?

Tracy Turnblad is a great choice! It would be so fun to play her character!

I would want to play Rizzo,in 'Grease'.I always had a thing for Kenicky.Well, back when I was a kid,and had no real taste, because obviously Danny was the hotter of the two.Back then. Now neither of them are hot.

I was in a musical back in school as 'Beads' The Peace Loving Hippie. Aside from singing, I think I had like five lines.

But in all actuality, I'd be Seymour Krelborn from Little Shop of Horrors. Or the plant Audrey. Either role would be cool.

Definitely Rizzo hands down.

I'm gonna have to say Rizzo also. I can't play a bad girl in real life, so it'd be fun

wow Rizzo is very popular, me too!

Tough one...I'm not a musical fan. I guess if I had to choose one it would be Audrey Hepburn in My Fair Lady just because she is gorgeous and it's a fairy tale with great old clothes.

Do you count Cry Baby as a musical? I would be the blond that falls in love with Cry Baby. And you get a steamy make out scene with him. I think Iggy Pop is in it too? Or someone like that.

I am a musical afficianado, so this is a hard question. I think (aside from the whole gender thing) I would be a good Tevye from Fiddler. Hmm... I'm torn between being Julie Andrews in Victor/Victoria, being Robert Preston in Victor/Victoria, or being.... Oooh! I got it.
I would be Rosemary Clooney in White Christmas.

My first thought was a character in Grease. Probably Rizzo, maybe Sandy. I only say this because I could probably still recite that whole movie, songs included, by heart...viola! No memorizing lines! I'm a shoe in :)

But my second thought was the girl from Cry Baby. Making out with Johnny Depp? Yes please!

Evita.
Rizzo.
ROXY.
This is all because with my imaginary starring role I'd also have fabulous legs and a killer voice...ahhhh to pretend!

I mis-understood the question as "WHAT do you want turned into a musical?" I still say wino number 3, every town has one.

Any role a small gay man has played. Ever. Because I definitely am a small gay man disguised in a woman's body.

I'd love to play Princess Winnifred the Woebegone from Once Upon a Mattress. It's funny, though, many people have said I look like Tracy Turnblad. I don't mind it at all--I've even got the hair in real life!

I want to be a female Willy Wonka. The original "Charlie and the chocolate factory" had songs, so I'm classing it as a musical so i can rave about how damn cool I'd feel being Wilhelmina Wonka. Ok, so that role doesn't actually exist, but that is the role i want to play :)
