The Best Bill Murray Movie?

The other day at work we were arguing about which Bill Murray movie is the best.

If you are a fan, you know his movies. This is a list of some of his most popular movies, but there are many more. Which is your favorite?

Caddyshack
Coffee and Cigarettes
Ghost Busters
Groundhog Day
Kingpin
The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou
Lost in Translation
Meatballs
The Royal Tenenbaums
Rushmore
Stripes
What About Bob?

For me it is NO CONTEST. It is Kingpin all the way.

OK, I have not seen a lot of his movies, but I do love "What About Bob?" I feel like Bob a lot. I also love "Larger Than Life" because it has an elephant in it, and young, wacky, unknown Matthew McConahey (how do you spell that?) PS. Thanks for all the encouragement, I really appreciate it.

The ten minutes he was in Coffee and Cigarettes was unforgettable! "Coffee makes you dream faster."
I tried it, and yes, coffee does make you dream faster.

But anyway, Broken Flowers is my favourite. It's really underrated, and not many people saw it, and when they do they just get angry, but Bill Murray was amazing!

Of course... it is the bowling movie!
What About Bob? is on my list of most-hated movies. I don't find that sort of movie anything but hateful and ugly. *shrug*

I don't even know if I can decide - he's fabulous in all of these.

If I had to narrow it down, I would say Lost in Translation and Groundhog's Day are the top two.

I'm torn between Kingpin and Caddyshack. Can't we mix them together and make some super Billy Murray movie? KingShack? CaddyPin?

I haven't seen all of his movies but my favorites of what I've seen are Ghostbusters, What About Bob and Groundhog Day. I've found through my life that people feel very passionately about Groundhog Day. They either really hate it or really love it.
