Angus Fairhurst (1966-2008) was one of the most influential members of the group of artists associated with London’s Goldsmiths College in the late 1980s. Fairhurst participated in the seminal exhibition, Freeze, which introduced the world to a generation who became known as the Young British Artists, setting the tone for contemporary art in the UK over the next two decades. Fairhurst's work is difficult to categorize, as it encompases painting, performance, animation, photography, video, sculpture, music, print, wallpaper, drawing and collage.

those sculptures are amazing! i find i only like sculptures with a sense of humour, for the most part, i don't know why. i just don't like sculpture the same as i like paintings or 2d art...

love these. I bet they weigh a ton. I think I like the one with the head being pulled off the most.
