That 70's Look

It is so fun to see all of the current fashion and thrifted looks that relate back to the 70's. It reminds me of all the tv I used to watch when I was a kid.

i would totally wear the short seen in the photo for 'dukes of hazard.' high waisted and short, short, short (i'd wear them if i didn't think i'd look like a skank that is.) and big sigh to the brady bunch (i looooved this show).

Only in the 80's our brodcasting TV started in colour, because until then it was only b+w (we were, read we are, a poor country)
But I remember Wonder woman and how I wished I was like her, even in b+w :)

Thank you so much dear for your kind words on my blog.

The seventies appear to have been a wonderful, polyester-filled time... too bad I missed it :)

Thanks for the comment!

Wow. Memory lane. My friends and I used to fight over who was Sabrina or Kelly on Charlie's Angels. None of us were blonds so we didn't want to be like in fantasy land trying to be Chris or anything. I should have been Kelly. She now has a bedding line at Kmart.

I LOVED Rhoda and Laverne and Shirley! Had no use for Good Times, though...

You forgot the "Bionic Woman." Jaime Summers and the battle with the Fembots? Classic.

I love the old fashion..it seemed so effortless yet soo stylish! I was told a few years ago that I looked like a character from "That 70's Show"..hehe not what I was going for but I do love a lot of the 60's & 70's looks so I guess it was cool. These shows are before my time too...but I adored watching Welcome Back Kotter reruns when I was young!!!

Yay for 70's and 80's TV! I would kill to have a dress like that one Cher is wearing in the 1st pic.

I'm all about '70s fashion. Minus the jumpsuits, of course. I will never wear a jumpsuit. How do you pee??

Drolly, we must be around the same age, for I also saw virtually all of those shows...

And I sooo wanted to be Rhoda, with her cool apartment, sister, doorman, and life! I sometimes wonder where that 'me' went to?
