Happy Friday!

2009-04-17-anvil_poster

Woo hoo. We finally made it. The weekend is near. YAY.

I am going to see ANVIL perform live here tonight! Wheee!!!

If you have any interest in watching a SUPER documentary about a heavy metal band that has been trying to make it for over THIRTY YEARS, I would recommend you see this movie about ANVIL. It is RAD!

What are your plans?????

Your plans sound WAY cooler than mine -- I'm sanding my hardwood floors & painting walls :( But it will be exciting once it's all done!

Have a great time at your concert and have a wonderful weekend!!

We're in the midst of a snow storm so we'll be spending the weekend curled up on the couch, reading comic books and watching Ginger Snaps 1&2 ;)

I love rockumenturies, especially the funny ones. Like Spinal Tap. Have a great time viewing this one.

Laying low this weekend! It's rainy and gross in S.C. - plus I traveled this week and am doing it again next week so my bed is calling my name. :)

I loved this documentary so much! The band was actually in the audience and came up on stage after the screening and the whole audience gave them a standing ovation. I was bawling my eyes out and making an ass of myself. And I love your blog! I just discovered it, lucky me, and will definitely be back!

I bet you had an awesome time!! I heard this movie was good - didn't someone like Rob Reiner direct it or something? I may have my wires crossed...
