I don't mind when animals have the pigeon-toed look going on, but I CANNOT fathom why ANYONE WOULD VOLUNTARILY POSE WITH THIS STUPID LOOK. Not sexy. Not attractive. Supremely unflattering. That woman posing as a shy, coy, uncertain little girl with inverted feet and knees knocking has got to stop. DON'T DO IT.
P.S. This is a shit look for the dudes, too. DON'T DO IT.

Haaaaa!!! Keeping it real, lady, thats what you do.
I have in the past accidentally inverted my feet like that but not on purpose. I promise!
'Ooh look at me with my pigeon toes and hunched over shoulders and awkward pose that surely can't be good for my back! With the compulsory awkward hand gesture/placement, I'm so KOOKY AND CUTE'
Just.... NO.
And the worst thing of it all is.. I find pigeon toed guy cute *sigh*
Oh no, this is such a pet peeve of mine... that and bad posture. Is it really that hard to keep your legs and body straight?
Those polar bear paws and duck feet are cute though ;-)
Hope you had a great weekend!
ahhhhhhhh!
I'm pigeon toe'd. Do you hate me??
I can't help it, I promise. I had braces on my legs a-la Forrest Gump when I was little. Don't laugh, it was traumatizing!
My brother would yell "Run Forrest, Run!" And I couldn't :(
they continue to do it. then the wind changes and they stay like that. Looking like a dick. It might be alreet on 4 year olds but at the age of 30... the face dont match the feet love.
You make me piss myself laughing sometimes. Especially when work is soooooooo lame.
xx
Tia...If you cant help but do it its not your fault. xx
It truly is a pretty ridiculous thing. It's such an unnatural pose and yet everyone does it! I LOVE that you continue to keep it so real, drollgirl! You are a vigilante of truth!!! Doin' the dirty work. Keep it up, my friend!
Crap, I can't believe this, I just did this in a post......but only so you could see the side of my shoe better, I swear.
I was just looking over this going, "Please don't tell me that's her in the red shoes. Please." Obviously, I think it's obnoxious too.
When it's a pose, I mean.
Agreed it's an awkward pose. Why anyone ever thought this would be something alluring and sexy or hot is beyond me. To me it just looks childish.
HAHAHA this made me laugh. I can always count on you on Mondays!!
Scarlett Johansson is constantly caught standing pigeon-toed.
I think I have the reverse problem
This was a great post to get me laughing on a very cold & snowy Monday morning!! Love your people/animal posts :)
You should send a letter out to all the editors! Ah ha ha
Hilarious!!! this seems to be a popular look lately. is it similar to bow legged? or no, shite that is natural.
for some reason i can picture a lot of punk rock musicians possibly pulling off this look..i'll have to investigate.
hope your monday flies!!
BLEH to the deliberate people-pigeon toed stance! I don't like the "shy, coy" thing either!! The frog is totally nailing the pose THE BEST...animals can totally rock it though for sure teehee!!
random comment. so sorry.
hahaha, so true and it's a very popular position to stand in for a lot of people! too funny.
Hahahahaha....You're hilarious. Maybe they think it makes their feet look smaller?
Agreed! The Pigeon toed look is only cool on...pigeons!
BAHAHAHAHAHAH....I love your commentary asdljadslkfjalksdfjlkadjladsjfahahahah
HA ha...this is a shit look for dudes! God I missed your blog while in NYC!!!
That look is for the birds *groan* ;)
I'm so stopping myself from doing the pidgeon toe now! It's involuntary... I promise you! Please don't hate my pidgeon toes!
HAHA I love the mix of pictures, really puts perspective on how awful it is to stand like that!
Where are the boys that do this and why are they doing that? Definitely not sexy whatsoever!
Horrible look, although I have lines embedded around my eyes that look eerily similar!

sorry about that don't know why my comment went on 3x's????
I agree...nothing sexy about awkward and gawky.
LOL those Olsen twins always do that.
Sadly, I'm pigeon toed on accident, so I might end up doing this and pissing off people. But mine is pure spaz factor, less trying to look coy and shy. Of which I am neither.
I'm sorry you're having such a crappy day.
If my photos don't work for you, check out my best friend Alyssa's. Her's might make you smile a little bit more, and they're kind of up your alley:

I would be pigeon toed if I could wear those fab red heels, honey!
haha sometimes i probably do this in photos (not to that extreme though) i agree with you it looks goofy
this post made me incredibly uncomfortable. i HATE pigeon-toed-ness. good call, good call.
I was so pigeon toed to the point of not being able to walk when I was a kid. I had to wear some Forrest Gump style braces on my legs and feet. I wish the shoes looked as wonderful as these!!
OMG.. I'm not sure what's worse... that or Girls in Japan pretending they can't walk in heels... lol
ughhhh it's so IN right now! don't these girls know how they look?
Dear drollgirl, kudos for the picture selection. It's brilliant.
Totally agree.
ha! too funny! not the best look but i suppose some people can't help it.
my dog is pigeon toed (not too bad) i love it! haha!
i didn't know them animals do that. so cute on the animals, yes. i agree with you totally. altho i sometimes was guilty of inverting them a wee bit over my own limit. the thing is, i have slightly bowed legs :( btw, you can see very 'cool' people on street style blogs inverting their feet. i must say i'd look at them different after that. or maybe there's a bit of that in every girl? lol.
Ok, I think it has something to do with bringing your thighs further apart at the top, which makes them look skinnier. Or something. I don't know, but I saw a model do it once and now I do it sometimes in pictures. Am I lame?
Hilarious little post and I agree - bad posture is not cool.
Hahahahahahahahahahaha! Yes! Agreed,
I'm guilty of doing this. not completely pigeon-toed but definitely not perfect. it's involuntary - I don't stand that way all the time but I often find myself in that position. my niece does it too.
I had this problem when I was younger! My enrolled me in ballet and it seemed to fix me....mostly. Except now I can't walk straight when I'm walking next to someone, unless I'm on the left side. Stick me on the right and I start to veer(?) off. Ah well, I suppose nearly walking into walls is better than walking knock kneed.
Thank GOD someone finally said it!!!! Agree with you 10,000,000%
Oh gosh, going to Silverlake, everyone stands like this in line to get coffee. SO ANNOYING!
I had to laugh because I have been known to stand like this in pictures! Note to self..STOP
Unbelievable how many people actually do it on purpose! It is not cute, you are right. I know some people simply walk like this because their legs are not straight but why would anybody want to do it intentionally???
hey, what if someone in those pictures were actually piegon-toed? Hmm? Like me, i can't help it. I was BORN with it, and i exactly wanna get those leg brace things. I bet they HURT. so, i find it offensive when people diss pictures of people walking piegon-toed. if i posted a picture of my feet, piegon-toed, would i get lots of posts telling me to not pose like that?
*scratches head* umm... pigeon-toed.... (BAD TYPO) my bad!
but still, dont diss us pigeon-toed people!!!!!
I'm with the Anonymous above. I've seen a couple of threads about how people hate when other people walk pigeon-toed. I found these after searching in google for 'how to stop walking pigeon-toed'. My feet and knees turn in horribly (not as bad as when i was a child), and I often trip over my own feet. I know people intentionally pose like that in pictures, but it seems rediculous that anyone would take the effort to walk that way. It's bad enough that I am pigeon-toed, now I have to take shit for it.
Also, for anyone who is pigeon-toed, try seeing an orthopedic surgeon. There are insoles that they make for correcting this.
OMGGGG!! I just looked back at pics on my blog and I do this (ON PURPOSE???) whyyyyyyyy>??? hahahahaha!! dying!! I must. STOP. now!
love your blog, you have me in stitches!
