Fat Guy in Little Car

Every now and again I see a chunky monkey of a man driving around in a small car. Usually it is an expensive sports car, and many times a convertible.  I never understand why they do that.

fat man in little car, fat guy in little car

And it always reminds me of this scene from Tommy Boy

Lol Totally! The smaller the car the bigger the dude. I think that's a messed up type of compensating! hehe. =P

My boss said he once got stuck in a mini sports car. They had to remove the door to get him out. hehe. =P

Now I'm singing another song "Fat guy in a little suit..."

Thanks. That will be in my head all day long.

When I was pregnant I got stuck in a kayak so I have sympathy for the fat guy.......

But you have to understand Drollgirl!

The sports car makes our hair fuller, it makes our pants bulgier, the girls be all up in our space when we have sportscars! It's science.

It's just like how I'm a little man,

I drive a giant boat, see?.

I be like a dog with fleas,

The girls be all over me, and my Grand Marquis,

Cuz me and my know how to please.

I guess they figure if driving a Ferrari is hot, then wearing a Ferrari is sexxxy!

I guess it makes them feel smaller! I haven't seen this yet (lucky me, hahaha).

hahaha, I can't watch the Tommy Boy clip cause the school district's internet blocks EVERYTHING (including all videos), but the pic is hilarious and damn, must be uncomfortable for him!

Have you seen Norbit? Resputia is a character in that movie that does the same thing... it's hilarious watching her get in and out. Of course, it's really Eddy Murphy in drag, but still sooooo freakin' funny!

The poor guy really has to struggle at it so why would he bother?

That's like a fat chick in a Miata, or a really short person in a truck so big they have to literally jump to get into it. Why do that to yourself?

If you're a big guy who NEEDS to drive a sports car, buy a muscle car. You can get in and out of a Dodge Charger a lot easier!

I was at the grocery store the other day, and I saw a large man get out of a Smart Car. The license plate of the car said "YESIFIT". I got a picture. I should post it on my site at some point. Haha.

This is so true! They are usually bald also!

This is sooooo true !
I see it's actually international.
Here we had an ex president who was HUGE and he drove a yellow Porshe around that begged forgiveness.
It was like he was stuffed in the poor little car.

Buying a convertible is strategy! When it feels to tight, he can pop the lid off. ;)

just watched this movie a couple weeks ago for the gazillionith time...awesome.
i love seeing big dogs in little cars but will certainly look out for fat guys in little cars for some chuckles.
i'd rather see that then the big ol' SUV's and Hummer's though...they piss me off. i immediately think they must have an itty bitty wonk.

I've seen people have rolls of fat kind of coming up to the steering wheel. What happens if you need to react quickly and kind of can't move in your car?

SabinePsynopsis said...

It's strange, but true (I know some examples, too). Maybe they all aspire to move on from 'Fat guy in a little coat' to 'Fat guy in a little car'? Or maybe they just enjoy the rare feeling of being sporty...

Thanks for the laugh today Drolly. :)

I never saw this movie but I keep watching the clip over and over again. I feel a new obsession coming on. Thank you (maybe)!
