Yesterday I knew I needed to start wrapping gifts, but I didn't have the energy to go out and try to find new wrapping paper [note: I am RIDICULOUSLY picky and it takes me a LONG TIME to pick out stuff like wrapping paper and cards -- and everything else!!! It is annoying being a picky fuck, but whaddya gonna do.]. I decided I would make do with what I had handy, which was this b&w paper from Ikea. These gifts have to travel far, so I can add bows or ribbons later. OR NOT. LOL! Anywhoo, I like the idea of this paper, as it can work for almost any gift or season -- just switch up the bow/ribbon to reflect the occasion. YAY.
Sorry for the bleary shots -- it was late at night and I was so tired and weak (I am so dramatic and pathetic!!!) and I couldn't be bothered to take 400 shots and tidy everything up. Such a slacker.
Like many families this year, mine imposed a strict limit on gifts, so I opted for weird/quirky/inexpensive/unique gifts that you can see above. Those types of gifts are usually my favorites (well, not really -- I love cash and gift cards so that I can pick out what I want -- LOL).
I guess it is countdown to Christmas time. ARGH. I can't even believe it is that time of year. And the word "countdown" just triggered this retarded song in my mind. ARGH!
