Exit Through the Gift Shop

Have you seen the movie Exit Through the Gift Shop? I finally watched it last night, and I CANNOT STOP THINKING ABOUT IT. I loved it. Just loved it. I don't want to give anything away, so I will limit my commentary. I have mixed feelings about street art and graffiti, but I pretty much think Banksy can do no wrong. If you are at all interested in art, you might want to check out this movie.

Exit Through the Gift Shop Banksy

I have to admit that before the movie started I let out a GIGANTIC GUFFAW when I saw the movie was produced by Paranoid Pictures. BAH!  I should be working there!!!!

I adore Banksy! My husband painted a copy of something of his and it's hanging in our house. I will have to find this somewhere.

We just watched that one last night too. I loved that glimpse into the world of street art, but thought it could have used more Banksy.

Saw because of this post and I LOVED! Thank you for the recommend... Banksy is amazing but that Terry is hilarious!! Seriously, will never go to an exhibit or art showing with the same mentality again...

I saw this production early last year and I loved it. Although I do have a love relationship with new(er) art forms like street art.

Oh wow, I'll have to check this out. Wonder if it's on Netflix yet? Have you seen the Simpsons intro he made? It's a great social commentary, I'm shocked that Fox even used it:
