It's kind of sad to see such lovely architecture and buildings in such disrepair.

The pictures are lovely though.

The intricacies in those designs are mesmerizing.

I wish I lived in a country where this type of architecture was the norm. so beautiful.

The color is so gorgeous. I love that coke bottle green wall in the photo of the chair. It would make a lovely film set. Very Almodovar-esque.

Wow, I had no idea Cuba was so gorgeous. I really want to go there now.

i sort of love the disrepair aspect of the colors/architecture. it adds a certain beauty which i think is descriptive of the experiences the country has gone through. astounding.

so in love with these!

Love that there are so many different influences but it all feels congruous. I see nouveau and Moroccan and Roman and deco... gorgeous! The disrepair is kinda charming. Thanks for sharing!

I love love LOVE how he's not just focusing on the architecture itself, but on the concept of disintegration and decay as a testament of time and the history of the interiors. I do think it's more charming and relevant to actuallly see these 'imperfections' rather than something that is so pristine it doesn't have a story to tell (or where the story as been completely covered up by extensive renovations). Incredible photography.

Dude I should have been born in another time . when attention was paid to detail and people were not in such a hurry.
Thse are fabulous, I hope I can go to CUba one day, I have always thought about it being a place where time stopped...

the design, colors and architecture completely boggle my mind!!! lovelovelove. my jaw dropped at every single one.
it makes me think DAMN our culture is so blah. they are so much more romantic in exotic places. corporatism has turned everything into a yawn-fest.

Good lord these interiors are killing me. The first group of photos are gorgeous because he makes the best out of really very dull, flat light. But then Cuba is pretty photogenic. It's like an aging 90s supermodel. A little wrinkled round the edges but still such GOOD BONES.

WOW, seriously WOW! Didn't think i'd like any architecture as much as gaudi in barcelona but this is AMAZING.
