That is oddly other, old world.Cheers!
It's kind of sad to see such lovely architecture and buildings in such disrepair. The pictures are lovely though.
OMG...I love!!!! I wish I could do a photoshoot in some of those rooms...holy moly!
Oh my goodness! These are incredible!!! Makes me want to go to Cuba, and I have never said that in my entire life.
The intricacies in those designs are mesmerizing.
I wish I lived in a country where this type of architecture was the norm. so beautiful.
The color is so gorgeous. I love that coke bottle green wall in the photo of the chair. It would make a lovely film set. Very Almodovar-esque.
Wow, I had no idea Cuba was so gorgeous. I really want to go there now.
i sort of love the disrepair aspect of the colors/architecture. it adds a certain beauty which i think is descriptive of the experiences the country has gone through. astounding.
so in love with these!
Love that there are so many different influences but it all feels congruous. I see nouveau and Moroccan and Roman and deco... gorgeous! The disrepair is kinda charming. Thanks for sharing!
I love love LOVE how he's not just focusing on the architecture itself, but on the concept of disintegration and decay as a testament of time and the history of the interiors. I do think it's more charming and relevant to actuallly see these 'imperfections' rather than something that is so pristine it doesn't have a story to tell (or where the story as been completely covered up by extensive renovations). Incredible photography.
Des colores!! Ahh Havana ~ mi corazon!!<3
ok, first off Love the new header! Oh, I wanna go to Cuba asap!Such awesome pics!Happy Monday Drollgirl!xoG
I wish I could have a time share in each!!! The colors are beautiful in the spaces! =)Melanie's Randomness
The building in the 3rd photo reminds me of the Flatiron photo! That last ceiling...wow!xoxo,Chic 'n Cheap Living
You are so right Drollie I LOVED these !Dude I should have been born in another time . when attention was paid to detail and people were not in such a hurry.Thse are fabulous, I hope I can go to CUba one day, I have always thought about it being a place where time stopped...
the design, colors and architecture completely boggle my mind!!! lovelovelove. my jaw dropped at every single one.it makes me think DAMN our culture is so blah. they are so much more romantic in exotic places. corporatism has turned everything into a yawn-fest.
oh amazing, what I couldn't give to blow off work and spend my days this week exploring this amazingness with a camera. ps the new blog header is cute! But I must admit I kinda miss the feuding cats haha
Wow I love the colors. I now want to go to Cuba more than ever! Someday....
ugh i get jealous when i see photo art like this. i wish i was that talented. these images look like paintings, they're so beautiful!
amazing super ^_^
Those are lovely & haunting.
Good lord these interiors are killing me. The first group of photos are gorgeous because he makes the best out of really very dull, flat light. But then Cuba is pretty photogenic. It's like an aging 90s supermodel. A little wrinkled round the edges but still such GOOD BONES.
WOW, seriously WOW! Didn't think i'd like any architecture as much as gaudi in barcelona but this is AMAZING.ps. i am loving the new header. darrrk. i like it.pps. #like a trickster i was born to walk alone...# ... it's on the turntable rigt now, what have you started?!
I KNEW that had to be Cuba! I so want to go...the flyfishing is supposed to be fantastic!
You've totally got me daydreaming now.
Why can't I be the one who gets to live in a place like that...sigh
