Thoughts on Lynda Carter...born in 1951, she looks great. STILL. And I sure loved her as Wonder Woman when I was a kid.
BUT. Jesus. After doing a little research, I discovered that she has been singing for a L-O-N-G time. I watched a lot of videos of her past singing career on the youtube, and they pretty much made me laugh and cringe and scream all at once. It reminded me of Bill Murray playing Nick, The Lounge Singer, on Saturday Night Live.
You be the judge.
This one takes about 15 seconds to get started, but it is well worth watching if you don't mind seeing a KISS song being DESECRATED.
But this is possibly the best video: CLICK HERE. Sorry there is no imbed code, but click the link if you want a HUMONGOUS laugh.
Her latest CD tackles such songs as Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Let's Stay Together, The Loco-motion, and Desperado. THE HORROR. To give a little listen to her latest CD, click here. Let's just say I STRONGLY prefer the original versions, and she pretty much ruins these songs. PRETTY MUCH.
I realize taste in music is subjective, and that she/you probably can't stand my type of music. To each his/her own, I suppose!
