Art In The Streets

Yesterday I finally went and saw the "Art In The Streets" exhibition at The Museum of Contemporary Art. If you are in the Los Angeles area, I would urge you to check out the exhibition. It is pretty amazing! Here are a ZILLION of the pictures I took while there [sorry there are so many photos -- I could not help myself!]....

The exhibition runs through August 8, 2011 if you would like to see it. Click here for more info. Note: Admission is free on Mondays!

P.S. Please note that there is a LOT more to see of this exhibition than what I have shown above. So much so, that I think I have to go see it again! :]

whoa...i am in awe. i find street art so fascinating and exciting. it's probably my favorite kind of art, when done well.

there's an area in brooklyn that allows graffiti. you should see some of the work done...it's incredible! i'd kill for those skills.

I'm glad you took so many pictures, the exhibition looks amazing. I think the only artist I recognized is Banksy... I could really do something about my ignorance in modern art!

These are awesome! We're supposed to go this next Monday. Did you see the little space invader on the outside of the building? It's the only glimpse I catch of the exhibit when I'm heading into work on my commute...

i LOVED this exhibit! i'm a big fan of street art. not the trendy street art which is all the rage these days, but true street art, art which has powerful stories behind it from kids speaking out in the only way they can.
