I was a bit bored and restless on Sunday, so I went out to the the boonies to check out the Gardens of the World and take a few scrillion pictures. It was a super hot day, and the garden grounds were peaceful and pretty (and admission + parking were free -- yee haw!!). It didn't look very fall-like there, but that is Southern California for you -- warm and sunny most times. And that is fine by me. :]

I love these photos. I like seeing the sensitive side of Drollgirl. She comes out every so often and I love that she turns to nature for inspiration.

@Dancing Branflake

That was my first thought. Since when does Drollgirl post pretty pictures like these? ; )

I like them though, I love the outdoors.

Made me a little homesick for the place I lived for 40 years. Ah, but I shall be in the OC for Thanksgiving! Your pictures are very pretty! Where is this garden?

scrillion!!!! hahaha. The weather is terribly unpredictable here. Chilly one day, summery the next. Gotta admit, I'm ready for jackets & scarves!

I am like super jealous right now. I have my undergrad in Landscape Architecture and am a garden nut. I would love to be there and add a few trillion to your pictures. Plus, it helps that it's all so relaxing...

Much Love,
Trissta

So colorful! I love it. We're at the turning point were the pretty fall colors are starting to fade and heading into gray winter. It might snow today...

these photos make me jealous, it looks so beautiful and makes me remember that spring is a long ways away :( But I didn't have to wear mittens walking into work today because it was a balmy 46 out so that was a win for me :)

XOXO

you have an eye for beauty my friend. i justt love your mad photog skills.

as for the sunshine, it's been that way in norcal too. i'm friggen loving it! however, last night it was super windy. i thought my teeny house was about to blow over and crush me while i was watching sons of anarchy and that would've sucked ass. fortunately, that didn't happen.
