I guess I am not really a fan of suspenders. They seem costume-y to me. Gimmicky. Maybe they are ok if they are genuinely NEEDED to support (as in the case of firemen), or maybe on the cute little boy pictured above. But other than that I think I'll pass.

Suspenders can be sexy on the right person ... as long as they're not too wide or crazy colors.
I am pro suspenders in terms of suits. And snowpants. I need some for my new snowpants.
I would say suspenders on someone like Rerun look quite different than suspenders on someone hot & sexy. Haha!

They are a strange thing indeed. Why do Wall Street guys wear them? Can they not afford fitting trousers? They do make sense as breast coverage though...

When I worked at McDonald's in high school, there was this very large guy (went on to represent Australia in the Olympics in Greco-Roman wrestling - that is how large he was) who couldn't wear the McD's webbed belt - even two attached to make a double length belt was too short. He got to wear McD's suspenders. I was jealous. I wanted to go to the Olympics too.

WHAT?!?! Love this. oh man, the double cosby killed me. my sister's and i have this weird thing with cosby. constant cosby jokes. something to do with my dad and my sister looking like him. but they are not african. it's gotten ridiculous, but never ceases to make me giggle when i see him.
i think it takes a really special person to pull off suspenders. sometimes it can work on old school working class british punk skinheads. (not the racist ones, but i think they stole the look)
