I could pretty much go to town with these stamps, particularly at work.

Reform School

Did your parents ever threaten to send you off to Reform School? I was kind of a sneaky kid, and I really didn't get caught/in trouble too often. My parents suspected that I was up to no good, but I got pretty good grades and didn't get called in to the principal's office often, so they didn't threaten to send me to Reform School. HOWEVER, my parents tried to convince/persuade me to attend a Christian school. Being a devil worshipper bit of a contrarian, I opted to stay in public school with the heathens. I can only imagine how much worse I might have turned out had I gone with their preferred school.

Side note: My parents are super religious -- my Dad used to be a preacher. When it came time for me to go to college, my parents told me they would help pay for my school if I went to a Christian university. Needless to say,  I opted for a budget education at Cal State on my own dime. :]

Virginia Robinson Gardens

I took a couple of days off from work last week, and went traipsing all over tarnation with my camera.  Stop number one was The Virginia Robinson Gardens in Beverly Hills. I could go on and on about how gorgeous it was, but I'll just let the photos speak for themselves.

My apologies for the photo onslaught. I took over 400 photos when I was there (and I had to take them in a hurry, as tour guides have an agenda and DO NOT want to wait for you to futz around trying to get great shots). HELLO!?!??! 400+ shots in less than 2 hours?!  I am such a loon! I love taking pictures. Love it. What I do NOT love is uploading 400 photos to Flickr and/or editing 400 photos. I just can't be bothered with the editing process on 400 shots! ARGH! It is too much! So I think I need to either try to take less shots and better shots, or get more patient. Or something!

Side note: I don't have a fancy camera (I have a Canon PowerShot SD1100IS 8MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom), but it gets the job done. Someday I want to upgrade to Nikon D5000 12.3MP DX CMOS Digital SLR Camera with 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR and 55-200mm f/4-5.6G VR Lenses and 2.7-inch Vari-angle LCD, plus this Nikon 50mm f/1.4G SIC SW Prime Nikkor Lens for Nikon Digital SLR Cameras, as recommended by Maegan, but HOT DAMN they are expensive.
