Krystopher Sapp has had a lifetime fascination with the machines of war. In his latest series of assemblage and sculpture, Sapp has gone to great lengths to acquire rare and powerful antique weapons, changing them from tools of death into elegant works of art and enhancing the natural beauty of objects created with heinous intent.

the the second and fourth ones down are cree-py. I don't think I see beauty in these at all... !!
Ahhh.... Drollgirl. You always manage to bring out the weirdness in all things weird. But that's why your blog is so addicting.
I have to say- the artistry and talent here is ridiculously good.
I would sooooo want to own one of those "guns!" Coolness.
p.s. I tagged you on my blog. Just a silly game of tag you're it...play along if ya want. no biggie.
Sapp is freaking creative person I must admit. His mind's eye is so unreal! But too much for me..
Pretty beautiful. I'm so fascinated by the disempowering of guns/weapons through art. Thanks for sharing these!
The one bent over on her knees is fuh-reaking me out!
i appreciate the effort ..but i'm not sure why.....
Ooohhhh I saw that first one on pinterest earlier today and I was so intrigued!! These are great pieces, with a lot of backstory and thought in them. Thus, I like them. Definitely love the gun ones; there's a new spin on the regular paradigm of a gun. Love!
Much Love,
Trissta
It is unique and avante-gard. The guns looks display worthy, but the pictures make a more powerful, disturbing statement.
