Those prices are why I buy repro! My house is all mcm stuff. It's my favorite design era to be sure. Some day I'm going to get the Eames hang all. When I win the lotto!
I have friends who have this stuff. I just can't reconcile investing in that kind of furniture, even though I love to look at it. Probably because I'll always have animals that would just destroy it all.
Oh, you know how much I adore these kinds of things. Lighting just gets me every time. Sexy, gorgeous lamps and fixtures those are. Siiiigghhhh... Now you've got me all worked up. Dammit.

I totally love lamps! One day, when I own my own place, I'm gonna have awesome lighting fixtures and lamps in every room. I did have some (including one I made) in my first apartment, but the more I've moved, the less I care about fixing up rentals.
I love great lamps - 2, 7,8, 11 - I want them all! And how amazing is the mushroom one?!
Me too! I must have the most generic, bland lamps around.
I love how tiny and quiet and emotional they all look here in this post... like people. lol Remember that Ikea commercial years ago with the lamp? It reminds me of that. I LOVE IT.

my house was owned by an electrician who put stupid recessed lights in all the ceilings, thus eliminating need for fun lamps. And I just love pretty little lamps...
