What length (har har) will you go to with your nails?  I am a buff and shine kind of girl (AT BEST) as far as the fingernails go.  Clearly I am of the o-l-d and b-o-r-i-n-g variety, but to each his/her own!

You know I love doing my nails but I simply don't get the ones with all that 3-D stuff on them. How do you do anything? I put 1 rhinestone on my nails and it falls off in a half hour!

The bows and the swirls would be cute on a little girl, they remind me of candy. But um, not the most practical when they're super long and have "stuff" on them. Also, I can't get polish to stay, how on earth do you get "stuff" to stay?

Too much for me.

The nail art is a huge thing right now. I glance the popular page on instagram and there is always nail shots to be found.

I'm a fan of the Sally nail stickers, all the fab, none of the work and they last longer than actual paint.

I like nail art, though not the textured kind. But gimme a fun color and pattern and I'm happy.

Man, I'd be picking that shit off so fast! I can't stand to have anything on my fingernails. Period. Even clear nail polish won't last. If it did, then I'd still never try any of these. lol I'm a tried and true plain jane, too. ;)

Much Love,
Trissta

I love some bold nails, and mine are always painted (can't say they aren't often chipped), but most of these are bizarre-o. How the heck do these people function in everyday life with nails that long and extravagant? I suppose typing is out. ha!

Oh my goodness, these are wonderful!
I have never seen anything like the roses, and I just LOVE them.

I may just have to rethink my usual neutral manicure!

You have a fantastic weekend!

I don't paint my finger nails, too distracting. But I paint my toes.

Love the metalic and the Mondrian nails. Have you seen the newsprint nails, I like those too.

So unsexy. I mean, imagine those near genitals. Scary.

Oh, I remember when I used to do my nails. Back when I had the time, and wasn't stuck washing dishes all the time. Now, I can't even find a nail clipper in the house.

Well... some are really just for the sake of art....
But they are all gorgeous.

Have a nice weekend

mine grow fast and can get long-ish but never sickly long. most of these are too much. i like certain shades of nail polish, but rarely wear it.

the WORST is looong toenails. PUKE!!!!!

While I love nail art and have found it is not practical to keep your nails much longer than your fingertips.

I got fake long acrylic nails one time because I thought they looked cool, but when I went to the gas station to try to swipe the card at the machine I couldn't grasp it out fast enough even after several times and ended up trying all sorts of odd combinations of hands and teeth that got me all sorts of odd stares before it finally worked. Not to mention when I got to work, it was downright painful to try to type. The worst was a nail breaking off and not finding it, only to have my boss find it in a file and get grossed out, comparing it to finding a severed limb in a file. I cut them all off before going into work the next day.

Some of those are pretty nuts. I've done the newspaper nails mentioned in comments above- super easy and fun. I'd like to try marble nails and gradient... but I have to admit that it's hard to find time to sit and let my nails dry for the time it takes to do these crazy techniques. I will not, however, be adding any 3D crap to my nails anytime soon.
Also- I love glitter on my toenails. It makes them sparkle like jewels in the summer. Love that!

I have awesome nails. People assume they are fake. They're fucking perfect.

And almost always some shade of dark red/purple/almost black even.
