I think most of us have experienced zipper trouble at one time or another.
The other day I was trying to figure out what to wear to work, and I saw one of my favorite dresses -- a dress that zips up in the back. I never wear this dress because I can't quite reach to zip it all the way up. But the dress is really, really cute, so I decided to wear it anyway. I put it on and zipped it up as far as I could, and then got in the car to drive to work. I was pretty sure I could get the dress zipped up all the way with some assistance, but I wasn't sure who I would ask for help. Ask my boss to zip me up? NO. Ask my male co-worker to zip me up? NO. Ask a security guard or parking attendant to zip me up? NO. While I was mulling all of this over, I stopped to get gas. Conveniently enough, there was a man filling up his truck next to my car. I took a deep breath, walked over to him,
curtsied, and told him I'd give him a dollar if he would zip up my dress. He raised an eyebrow, laughed, zipped me up and waved away my attempts to give him a dollar! HOORAY!!! Win/win!
